Featuring an innovative, eco-friendly synthetic surface that delivers a smooth skating experience without the need for refrigeration or noisy generators, Glice offers a festive and sustainable way to create cherished holiday memories in the heart of Grand Social. Rental skates are included, or you can bring your own, but recreational shoes are not permitted.

All aboard the Grand Express! Embark on a delightful holiday train ride departing from Grand Social, taking families on a festive loop around the resort to the Reflection Courtyard and back. Little ones and families can enjoy a fun ride filled with seasonal cheer and holiday magic. The perfect addition to your Grand Social experience, the Grand Express creates special moments and memories to treasure throughout the season.

The North Pole is coming to Fairmont Grand Del Mar this holiday season. Santa Claus will make special appearances at his Chalet at Grand Social, accompanied by his cheerful elf assistant, ready to greet families, hear Christmas wishes, and capture magical holiday photos. Gather around for a special story time with Santa each evening. Throughout the season, guests can also enjoy surprise visits from beloved holiday friends, including The Grinch, Buddy the Elf, enchanting holiday princesses, the Ice Queen, and more. With festive characters and unforgettable photo opportunities, a wonderful way to celebrate the season.

Join Santa for story time at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Sundays.

Experience the magic of the holiday season with a beautiful ice-skating performance at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Watch as two talented figure skaters glide across the rink in a festive, choreographed show filled with holiday charm and Christmas spirit. Following the performance, guests are invited to enjoy a special meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with the skaters, creating magical holiday memories for the whole family.
